I customize my lesson plans to the needs of each student that I work with. I have a decade of experience as a tutor, teacher, and trainer. My tutoring specialties include grammar, speaking skills, listening skills, reading comprehension, and writing. I work with students to help them improve their confidence in their command of the English language and their communication skills. I've had the opportunity to work with everyone from elementary school students to adults, and I'm currently on the faculty at a community college. I'm certified in ESL, and I have a graduate degree in international education that I earned at Harvard University, focusing on educational systems in foreign countries. I've worked, taught, or lived in 30 countries, I speak five languages, and I understand many different cultures. I can tutor students in essay editing and writing, English grammar, phonics, reading, writing, ESL/ELL, and test preparation for the ACT, SAT, and other standardized exams.
